Questa canzone mi è girata in testa per tutto il giorno, mentre rimuginavo su una frase che ho letto e che spero di aver frainteso. La cosa strana è che ero assolutamente convinto che il ritornello si chiudesse con la frase To keep her caged I would just delay the spring, che intendevo come Per trattenere in gabbia il mio passerottino, sarei disposto a rimandare la primavera. Invece, dopo aver controllato le liriche, ho scoperto che la canzone intende esprimere il concetto perfettamente opposto: il senso reale è trattenerlo in gabbia servirebbe solo a rimandare la primavera.

Ahimè, quant'è vero.
